Feed and Speed provides free, browser-based calculators and reference charts for machining and manufacturing: cutting speeds, feed rates, threading, conversions, and materials/tolerance reference. The tools are provided as-is, without any account, sign-up, or payment required.

Estimates, not guarantees

Every result these calculators produce is an estimate based on standard reference data and the numbers you enter, not a measurement of your specific machine, tooling, or material lot. Actual results vary by tool wear, machine rigidity, coolant, and material condition, and no calculator can account for that variation. We make no guarantee that a calculated value is correct or safe for your specific setup, and recommend verifying against your machine's capabilities and your own judgment before committing material, tooling, or time.
